Apparently you can now download N-Gage Game trials from within the Ovi Store. About freakkin time, this really should have been ready at launch tbh.
To find the N-Gage games you’ll have to scroll over to the “Games” section within the Ovi Store. Curiously a search for “N-Gage” wont bring up any results, and there is no seperate “N-Gage” catergory, so you’ll have to search for N-Gage games by their names if you want to check them out.
Things work like you’d expect them to. You can download the game trial, which opens up the N-Gage Application, which in turn, installs the game the traditional way you’re probably used to, if you’ve used N-Gage before.
Remember though, the N-Gage games you download from the Ovi Store are Trials, which you can purchase the full version of, within the N-Gage App.
It still remains to be seen how fast N-Gage games are added to the Ovi Store after they’re released. The period between game release, and appearance on the Ovi Store should be instantaneous. But something tells me, that’ll probably not happen.
While it’s nice that N-Gage games are listed on the Ovi Store, and I’m sure it’ll help show off N-Gage to a larger audience, I’ll be sticking to the N-Gage app to download my N-Gage games. How about you ?
