Looks like Nokia’s strategy in India is still working. For a second row running, the EconomicTimes reports that Finnish Giant has topped the prestigious, ‘Brand Equity Most Trusted Brands (MTB) Survey‘.

I cant tell you how big an achievement this is, really. The Indian market is notoriously faithful to their indeginous brands, or older brands which have been around for a while. Nokia should really be proud of this achievement. And it’s well deserved too ! From setting up Nokia Blogger Meetups for their Flagship launches, launching Nokia Concept Stores around the country, to little things like launching services that help in rural areas of the nation, holding nationwide contests, maintaining a relationship with Indian developers or selling low cost phones that are affordable to low income people, Nokia has really been working hard in the subcontinent.
Stand up and take a bow Nokia.
Now, how about getting better Detailed Maps of India for your Ovi Maps Application, eh ? Also we’re still waiting for the Nokia Music Store you said would launch back in January this year.
