The Nokia N79 was one device I never did get the pleasure of trying out. For you lucky owners of the device though, Nokia’s released a firmware update for the N79 to version 30.011.

According to the press release :
This software release comes with stability improvements and new features that help you stay in touch with your friends. Contacts include Ovi features that allow you to locate your friends and receive updates on what they are doing. You can also chat with your friends and share your favorite places with them. This release also includes improved video stabilisation. To get this software through your device, type in *#0000# on the home screen or go to Device Manager. Select Options > Check for updates and follow the on screen prompts. Additionally this software release is available through the Nokia Software Updater: www.nokia.com/softwareupdates.
Do you have a Nokia N79 ? Notice anything new after the firmware update ? Do let us know in the comments.
