Fring updated their Symbian Client to version 3.40.17 today. The new version brings about the ability to “mash up” or combine multiple profiles of your friends, into one profile that lists all the person’s entries.

What this means is, if you have someone’s accounts on Skype, Twitter or Gtalk, you can combine them all into one profile, which will definitely help organise and remove all the clutter from your friend lists on fring. Definitely a useful feature.
Fring can also now go through your phonebook and let you know if any of your contacts happen to already be on the service, and hence use it to call them or message them online, saving you from operator charges.
There’s a couple improvements under the hood too, so its definitely worth checking out. You can download the update (for your S60 V3 or V5 device) over at Fring.com/Download.
