There’s been an increasingly lot of Nokia N97 info turning up lately, as it gets closer to launch. I havent been able to keep track of it very well thanks to my bad internet connection while I’m here in Kuwait on Vacation.
Thankfully other bloggers have.
First up Mobile-Review.com have intensively reviewed the Nokia N97. While the English version of their review still isnt up yet, the Google translated version can be found here.

The review is the typical thorough intensive sort of reviews that I’m come to expect from them. They seem positive about the device.
Secondly, Vaibhav from theSymbianBlog has collected almost all the Image and Video samples out there, and put them together in one post that you can check out here.
The image samples look great (Although a stubborn part of me still thinks the N82 might be slightly better), and the video seems about what you’d expect. It seems to handle loud volume better than the ol’N95 and N82 though.
Then we head on over to LesterChan.net, who’s actually a popular wordpress plugin creator (we use several of his plugins here on ZCJ). Turns out hes a Nokia fan too, and he got to check out the N97 at a special Blogger Preview event in Singapore. He has literally tons of images of the Nokia N97 and a load of videos too, which you can check out here.

He seemed to pretty much like the N97.
It felt solid when I got my hands on it. There will be 2 colors for it. The black as well as the perl white. There are a lot of interesting applications/widgets that you can place on the home screen such as Facebook, Stocks, Weather, etc. Gone are those days of those boring Active Standby screen which exists all the way till the N96. You can have up to 5 widgets on the home screen which you can arrange in any order you like..
Varun over at FoneArena also has a light hands-on with a prototype of the device which you can check out here.

He wasnt allowed to talk about the software aspect too much but he really loved the hardware, and has a few pics of it too.
And lastly, we have a short 5 minute video review of the Nokia N97 by the guys at PhoneScoop. You can check it out below :
Phew. Lots of info pouring in as the N97 gets closer to launch. I seriously cannot wait to check that device out. More importantly I cant wait to put it up against my N82 and see who wins that battle.
