Nokia inaugurated its new Concept Store in Colaba, Mumbai, yesterday. The store is modeled on the global Nokia Concept Store format. The store, the ninth such one in the country, is designed to educate consumers on Nokia’s latest products and technology through a hands-on experience.

Spread over 1000 sq. ft., the interactive and informative Nokia Concept Store will provide mobile phone consumers a one-stop destination for the latest and comprehensive range of mobile solutions, including devices and services. The Concept Store offers a complete portfolio of Nokia mobile devices, enhancements and services including Email, Music, Imaging and Gaming .
Nokia said its Concept Store will have a uniform and consistent look to provide all aspects of solutions selling, making the shopping experience fulfilling and delightful for consumers.
Rajat Sinha, Regional General Manager (West), Nokia India said, “The Nokia Concept Store is an expression of both design and Nokia brand heritage. With this store we are reaching out to our consumers by enabling them to experience Nokia products and services under one roof.”
“Apart from being the commercial center of the country, Mumbai embodies a natural propensity towards newer concepts, services and products. Our New Concept Store is geared to deliver just that, a completely redefined solutions experience in a truly compelling environment,” added Sinha.
Nokia said the Concept Store, with its futuristic and high-tech ambience, will provide the ideal backdrop for visitors to experience the latest mobile applications and solutions across business domains. Trained staff will be at hand to help visitors learn about new mobile applications and technologies.
With a simple-to-navigate setup, open doorways and low-glare lighting, the store provides a relaxed and satisfying customer experience. The store has two giant LCD screens on which mobile phone ads will run continuously, helping consumers to understand the features of the phones.
The store is also equipped with a Gaming zone with two giant LCD screens connected to Nokia Multimedia Devices where one can enjoy the latest n-gage titles from Nokia. The company said high-tech display terminals and dedicated areas for Imaging, Music, Gaming, etc. make it easy for consumers to bring themselves up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the mobile industry.
