MyPhone is a nice little Flash-based application that “replaces” your standby screen and S60 UI and gives your S60 phone an iPhone-like user interface (UI) and look, complete with a few widgets, notifications, multiple homescreens and customisable application shortcuts. Of course you can switch back to the standard S60 UI at any time.

This is perfect for those of you, who have been looking for way to make your S60 device UI look more like the iPhone. The app is compatible with all S60 V3 and V5 devices with Flash Support, but we’ve used it on the Nokia 5800 where it really shines.
Earlier this Month, the crew over at Mmmooo.com announced that the new myPhone Version 2.10 was released, bring along a couple new features for S60 V5 devices, and fixing a couple bugs in the process.
We reviewed myPhone back in January, so we wont go over the same things again.
The App looks pretty much the same, you have icons arranged in a 3×5 Grid Pattern, and have support to upto 4 Homescreens that you can keep shifting between, just like the iPhone.
But one of the new features in this version is, if you’re not happy with the 3×5 Grid Pattern, you can change that over to a 4×5 Grid Pattern instead.
This view shows more icons on screen, with 3 Homescreens to scroll through. This also adds a link to the Developer’s Blog as one of the standard icons at the bottom, next to Messages, Call and Contacts.
The Last Panel in both grid-modes, is basically reserved for “Your Apps” where you can specify which apps or Bookmarks to websites you’d like to have here.
This can be pretty handy. I wish it could auto-detect your bookmarks on your Browser though.
All this can be configured via the new “MySettings” icon, which brings up a menu with the following settings :
You can now choose between wallpapers ranging from the Battery Meter wallpaper (which displays your battery’s status), to a text background, to several others.
Simple Wallpapers :
The Settings Menu also lets you choose an auto-lock time period for the app. This means after a certain period of inactivity, the app locks back to its “Slide to Unlock” Screen.
All the Icons on the myPhone Homescreens bring up their S60 Equivalent application (Eg: The “Music” Icon brings up the S60 Music Player), but some icons have their own special Widgets.
One of these is the RSS Icon, which brings up a list of website RSS Feeds that you’ve subscribed to. You can add and change as many as you’d want :
Another new Widget, is the Paint Icon which brings up a fun little Paint application :
Pretty cool, eh ?
Of course, if you’ve too confused with the app, there’s a built-in Help Menu to help you out :
The Developers have even cleaned up registration for the App now. Once you buy the app and submit your IMEI, you just have to start the app and let it connect to the internet to activate itself :
All in all, the Developers Mmmooo.com have really improved the application quite a bit. If you have an S60 V5 device and want an iPhone-like look to it, you might as well check the myPhone application out.
You can check out the myPhone Trial or if you want to, go ahead and buy myPhone at the Mmmooo.com Store.

The little clock icon shows the correct time
The SMS icon lights up with the number of new messages
The calender icon shows the correct day and date
The screen saver with the battery shows the actual charge remaining
However there are a couple of bugs that need fixing:
If you go and open the new message and return to myphone; it still shows a new message.
The weather icon always shows 23 and sunny - this should change like the time
It is stupid that I cant turn the phone on it's side when I am in myphone; it shows a "lock" that's just rubbish - more of a temporary block than a true lock.
Suggest they finish the application before selling it - this is a beta.
