Its not secret, we love the Nokia SportsTracker Application here on ZOMGitsCj. But it looks like the Finnish Giant wants to give the Fitness Application a boost by using it in “the highest ever cricket match”.

Called the “Nokia Maps Everest Test“, the Twenty20 match will take place on April 21st, at the highest altitude ever for a team sport. The two teams, Team Hillary and Team Tenzing, will be using Nokia N79s and N85s to record their progress. Everything from their heart rate to daily blog entries. Both teams will be raising cash for The Himalayan Trust and The Lord’s Taverners. On their way down, they’ll be teaching cricket to kids in a village called Khumjung, and donating their kit.
The game is taking place at on “Gorakshep“, a frozen lake bed thats a mind–bending 17,000ft (5,165 metres) high altitude.
You can check their progress or donate over at www.TheEverestTest.com.
