The Nokia E55 gets Reviewed

Once again, Eldar from Mobile-Review.com, has gotten his hands on a device before anyone else, and reviewed it ! Just posted recently, was his in-depth review of the recently announced Nokia E55.

E55 Review

Basically he thought the device was fine, but is a very niche offering that might not be very popular because of the competition it faces inside Nokia’s portfolio.

I have to say, I sort of agree with him. That Half-Qwerty Keypad just isnt cutting it, esspecially when you have the Nokia E75 around. Regardless, I hope to get my hands on this one eventually so I can check it out for myself.

@CJ, I don't agree, being solid , evergreen candybar I think this will be very popular. It has better battery and elegant looks. I am waiting for this one eagerly.

I don't really know why but I really like the way the keypad looks. It's just another of those things that Nokia could've done better in earlier devices. I would love to have my E71's keypad with the d-pad in black. Even if I care about it so much the chrome paint peels itself off.

Heya Suyog, When they announced it, they said to expect it around May-June ish. We can hope its not delayed lol. I'm still very interested in checking out this device, but I'm just not sure how people will like using the half-qwerty keypad.

I think with the predictive text that Nokia introduced in the earlier Eseries devices (E66 and E71) it will work as good as qwerty, but once off, it can get a bit annoying if you were used the full keyboard. For T9ers (for example E51 users) it will be a great improvement either.
