Nokia Image Exchange Gets An Update

Nokia’s Image Exchange Application got an update today. This is mostly a maintenance update that tries to address issues that have been noted with the earlier release.

Nokia Image Exchange

Nokia Image Exchange is an experimental imaging service to make browsing and sharing images fun and easy. It aims to provide a seamless integration of a mobile image gallery application and a corresponding web-service. If you haven’t tried it out yet, you can download it freely from http://imageexchange.nokia.com.

Key highlights:

  • Speed. Performance has been improved especially regarding public browsing and comments. Image Exchange should also be much faster to recognize your friends who join the service and the web interface should also be faster.
  • Browsing published images is no longer limited.
  • Sharing images over Bluetooth is now possible (via Share->Send).

More importantly this release includes bug fixes on multiple areas, including sharing.
