The S60 Ambassadors program recently held an N-Gage related campaign, where the top percentile would win 10 N-Gage game codes. That wasnt all apparently ! Today as a “Thanks for Participating“, I also received a free swag pack from the S60 Team, containing a lot of S60 Branded Items (gotta love em!), most of which are going to come in pretty useful to me.

Yessiree, I’m gonna be one pretty fly S60 Ambassador walking around with all that. I’ve already used the stickers on my Laptop. Who doesnt love stickers, really ?
Which brings me about to S60 Ambassadors :
“S60 Ambassadors are consumers of S60 software (in other words, people who own an S60-based Nokia, Samsung, LG, or Lenovo phone) who want to know more about S60 and want to spread the word about S60 to their friends, family, and occasionally to strangers in the park.
Nokia wants us to talk about S60 at Nokia-sponsored events around the world. And then they want to hear, from us, directly, what we talked about, what the people we talked to said, what we like and disliked about the event and the products we talked about. Being an S60 ambassador brings the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping people know and understand what S60 has to offer. The power of being “in the know” as Nokia arms you with the latest and greatest information about upcoming software releases and S60-based devices. The opportunity to influence how people think about the mobile device market. The fun of getting lots of S60 schwag. And the chance to earn cool accessories (HW and SW) for your S60-based device.”
Basically, Nokia just wants you to talk about your S60 experience, good or bad, on the S60 Ambassador Site. You can go ahead and register yourself . It’s free, and heck, you might get yourself some pretty neat S60 Branded merchandise !
On a Sidenote, the S60 Team is also making a fun little video that shows all that’s great about the Ambassador program. The idea being that more people will watch a video than will sit through a PPT. They’re hoping that some of the S60 Ambassadors will volunteer to a part of the video. So iff you want in, just film yourself saying “I’m an S60 Ambassador” and post your video to Flickr or Ovi with the tag “Amby1?. You can search through the “Amby1? in Share on Ovi to see some of the action.
