Nokia 5800 Sales Sets New Record In India

This just in: Nokia has already sold more than 58,000 units of the 5800 XpressMusic just 3 weeks after its launch in India.

“The 5800 model is indeed doing well in India. This testifies Indian consumers value innovation even when the economy slows down,” said a Nokia India spokeswoman.

This is especially good news for Nokia, considering how the Apple iPhone tanked in sales here in the subcontinent. I cant say I’m not surprised. The 5800 appears to be selling very well.

Kudos to Nokia !
