Nokia just unveiled its online Application Store, named “The Ovi Store“.
The location-aware store will launch this May in about 8 countries and will support close to 50 million devices, which includes existing S40 and S60 customers. The revenue split will be 70% to developers. In addtion, the developer’s site publish.ovi.com was announced.
The store can “learn” your tastes over time and anticipate what you want, and make recommendations based on your geographical location. The store offers a range of content including applications, games, videos, widgets, podcasts, location-based applications and personalised content.
