Nokia might finally announce an 8 Megapixel camera phone, this month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2009. In a recent post at the 2009 Nseries blog, they show us a picture and mentions that it was taken in Barcelona, “with a Nokia device”.
This is the resized Nokia photo , the original can be viewed at the Nseries Innovation Workshop.
In the image’s Exif data, the picture has a resolution of 3274 x 2448 pixels, which translates to 8 Megapixels, and it also says that the camera used has a Carl Zeiss lens. Woo ! Hence, we can only conclude that Nokia has an 8 Megapixel Nseries device ready, that will be announced at MWC 2009.
There’s no confirmation yet, but MWC 2009 is just three days away, so we should know soon. I cant wait to see what Nokia announces !
