Nokia just announced the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic a few minutes ago. The device runs on S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, has a 2.2” QVGA TFT display, 3.2-megapixel FullFocus (EDOF) camera with a dual LED flash. There’s also USB charging along with USB 2.0 High-Speed transfer.
Here’s a short video introducing you to the 5630 :
I’ve also noticed that it supports the new “Contacts Bar” active standby theme that started on the 5800 XpressMusic, but has been improved a lot with the 5630. Supposedly you can scroll through icons for up to 20 contacts and interact with them directly from the home screen.
The 5630 is the slimmest N-Gage compatible device at just 12mm thin. Comes with Music is enabled in selected countries, it’s ready to soak up to 3,000 songs into its slender shell via a 4GB microSD memory card that comes in the box. Likewise, its tuneful talents extend to the ’say and play’ feature (first debuted on the 5320 XpressMusic last year), letting you speak the name of an artist of track to automatically play it. Plus, the Nokia 5630 comes loaded with a 3.5mm headphone connector, stereo Bluetooth, FM stereo and Internet radio to wrap up its music credentials.
