Eldar , of Mobile-Review fame, has said that Nokia is planning to debut its App Store at the Mobile World Congress 2009, thats being this February 16th-19th. Apparently, the Nokia App Store is already up and running in closed mode.
“At first glance, for now, the app portal looks so so, there is some confusion. But they are trying, polishing it and a lot has changed for the better in a matter of days. A right step in a right direction… And the distribution and revenue sharing model between app makers and Nokia looks very attractive.”
About freakkin’ Time I’d say. Here’s hoping they get it right ! Samsung already announced their S60 App Store earlier. I’m excited to see what Nokia brings.
