The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic just got a firmware update to version 11.0.009 . Its previous firmware was v11.0.008.
The 5800 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), so while its always a good idea to backup all your data before the firmware update, none of your programs or data should be affected with the update.
Unfortunately, the update isnt available through OTA (Over the Air) yet, but you can still download Nokia’s Software Updater application to update your 5800 on your windows PC.
There’s no actual changelog out for this firmware yet, but reports are that it makes the 5800 a bit more quicker in overall operation and probably fixes a couple bugs here and there.
