Samsung just announced today, that it will be launching the Samsung Mobile Applications store , which will feature about 1,100 S60 and Windows Mobile applications, both commercial applications and freeware.

For developers, they’ve said that there will be no cost to submit your application to the store, or for hosting the application in the store.
The store will be launched soon, at the 2009 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. A preview of the store is already up here.
