Check out the pictures, after the break.

As you can see, the 5800 XpressMusic is just a tiny bit shorter than the N82, but about the same width. Which is pretty darn compact according to me.

On the Left side, the 5800 has its Simcard slot and MicroSD slot, both covered and secure with a plastic hinge. Its speakers are also located here but are not very noticeable and deceptively small for its volume.
The N82 has its charging port, MicroSD port and its MicroUSB port.

The 5800 XpressMusic has its power button and MicroUSB connection port here at either ends, both covered with a rubber flap. There’s also the 3.5mm standard audio port, and the charging port.
The N82 has its power button and 3.5mm standard audio jack here.

    I still prefer the N82! I wouldn't buy a 5800 instead of a iPhone. Come on... :p

In my opinion, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic looks a lot nicer than N82. Its more professional-looking.

The N82 is far more elegant & less plasticky-looking. The camera is superior as well, but that tiny screen and T9 input drag the device back into the dark ages. No high-end phone should be w/o a QWERTY keyboard. Postage stamp screens are for entry level phones. I guess Nokia doesn't wish to put everything in one phone for marketing purposes. If I'm going to spend this much for a phone (w/o a plan in The States), it had better be deluxe. What's the point of having a great browser, for example, if it's on a postage stamp?
