Nokia release six new entry level phones for developing markets

   

 

In its ongoing effort to bridge the digital divide, Nokia introduced a range of new affordable mobile devices today, specifically for people in emerging markets. In addition to Nokia’s lowest cost handset to date, as well as its first handsets for emerging markets with an integrated digital music player, Nokia unveiled a range of services that leverage the power of the Internet. Estimated retail prices of the new devices range from 25 to 90 EUR, with several models expected to begin shipping in 2008

Egads that’s a lot of phones for one night ! Now while I personally, do not know anyone who would buy any one of these phones (My crowd is more of an N-series, E-series bunch), I do see a lot of people in the developing sector choosing these if they come with the also announced new Nokia Services.

Kudos to Nokia for making their lowest cost Handset to date !

wOoW the Nokia 7100 super nova looks neat but for the style it aint got the features!!! 1.3?? i mean what on earth was nokia thinking???? they gotta get it right...style+features = awesomeness!!!
