The Nokia N79 has finally been launched in India and is selling at the price of Rs 22,939 , which is more or less the same as the price when the N79 was announced.
Its basically a new monoblock handset having the usual Nseries features, like a 5 megapixel camera (with Dual LED flash and protective lens cover), automatic screen rotation via an accelerometer, touch sensitive NaviWheel, Xpress-on smart covers, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, TV-out, FM transmitter and integrated GPS. The N79 has out of the box support for the full range of Ovi services: Photos, Music, Maps, Video and Games (N-Gage).
The new feature with this one though, is that it supports Xpress-on Covers for the back of the device. And something new called “Xpress-on smart covers” which automatically change the phone’s theme when they are applied. 3 Xpress-on smart covers will be included in the retail box: silver/grey, red and green.
