Whoa, I had just got an email from WOMworld about the the Nokia Virtual Launch Event, when I checked my Google Reader to find out the two devices that were expected to be announced officially at the event have already been been leaked!
Lets see what we have here. From the looks of these leaked posts, both devices are S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2. Both have 5mp cameras with a dual LED flash. No xenon flash, no lovin from Teh Cj. Check them out.
The Nokia N85 :
The Nokia N85 will have dedicated game keys and support for N-gage platform for a great gaming experience. The handset will pack an exiting 2.6” 16M AMOLED display, which will be the largest of its kind among GSM phones. In addition the N85 will feature a 5 megapixel camera, WLAN and 3G with HSDPA support. A microSD card slot will allow expanding the built-in memory. The built-in GPS will allow geo-tagging of the photos taken with the camera.
and then there’s The Nokia N79 :
The Nokia N79 is supposed to be a fashion-oriented handset with replaceable back covers. It will also come with a 5 megapixel camera, which will be complemented by a dual LED flash and a protective cover. Among the other features are Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G as well as a microSD card slot. A 4GB card is expected to come in the retail package.

They’re nothing revolutionary like the Nokia N95, when it was launched. But I’m sure there will be people who would buy these phones. They are probably targeting the same crowd as the Nokia 6220 classic does, albeit that phone has a xenon flash. Meh. I’m still waiting on Nokia‘s answer to the Samsung INNOV8.
